Johannes Ernst will be a speaker at the Digital Identity World 2006 conference in Santa Clara, CA, from September 11th to 13th, 2006.
Fittingly, the conference has, for the first time, the title "Managing The Decentralization of Identity", a process that LID certainly has contributed to.

Johannes Ernst (NetMesh) participates on a panel on user-controlled identity, moderated by Microsoft's Kim Cameron, the chief architect of InfoCard. Other participants include Hilary Ward of Citigroup, Paul Trevithick of Socialphysics/Higgins and Stefan Brands of Credentica.
LID at PC Forum 2006
Johannes Ernst (NetMesh) and Michael Graves (Verisign) represented URL-based identity in a roundtable discussion at Esther Dyson's PC Forum 2006, on "The Accountable Net: Trust, Reputation & Identity".
Other participants included Kim Cameron (Microsoft), Ed Batista (Attentiontrust), Fran Maier (Truste), and Meng Weng Wong (Karmasphere).
