LID 1.0

LID 1.0 was the original version of LID proposed by NetMesh at the end of 2004.

Unlike LID 2.0, LID 1.0 was a monolithic system and primarily served to illustrate what one could accomplish by using URLs to identify people. That goal it accomplished admirably.
