The first group is listed at vCard fields. Let's see what happens when we look at FOAF. The current state of that work is at FOAF fields. One more item is at XRI fields.

theIdentityDataItemRoles

The first group is listed at vCard field roles.

I believe 'role' is correct here. Consider a delivery address: Q: What is the role of this address? A: This is the address to be used for work mail. Or telecomm addresses: Q: What is the role of this address? A: This is the address for personal faxes and for personal phone calls when i am at home. (I write this before looking over the "qualifiers" to see if 'role' really works.)

theEncodings

We need to list these at vCard encodings.
